Pacquiao and Mosley: We’re So Over Those Trash Talks

The much-awaited Pacquiao vs Mosley fight promises a good deal of entertainment, minus the theatrics beforehand. Who would be surprised anyway? It’s Manny Pacquiao vs Sugar Shane Mosley; not some silly old fighters with an air of arrogance and adds some back-handed insults at Wednesday’s prefight media conference. But one would be a bit hard-pressed to find something to rev up the issues and drama after the last boxing conference on Wednesday, and that just marks how respectable these two fighters are, not only inside the ring, but out of the canvass too.

Fact is, Pacquiao and Mosley do know that it won’t be necessary to hit excitement one notch higher because they established rapport and they are top fighters in their own right. They already drum up every hightail and headline, and come May 7, the world will be tuning in to them anyway, so you couldn’t ask for anything more. straight from ESPN, Bob Arum even predicted that by the time the Fight Camp 360 run its course thoroughly, it will have been seen by over 4 million people. And that will give you the idea of what kind of interest appears to be in this fight. Well, as you know, there are those other fighters who practically can’t live without something drastic to pump up on TV just before a fight.

And there are those fighters that are good enough and are even the best, but not temperamental enough to just be quiet. For one thing, Pacquiao and Mosley are neither these types of fighters. They are champions in more than one way and their grins and respect for each other is just exceptional.
